01What Is an Agent Operating System?

An agent operating system (agent OS) is a setup that lets you run multiple AI agents together in one place. Instead of switching between tools, you control everything from one dashboard. You can use agents like Hermes, Claude, and Paperclip to automate tasks.

In this episode, Julian Goldie shows how his agent OS works. It includes tools like Hermes Oracle for news, Jarvis for voice control, and Paperclip for team orchestration. You can build your own agent OS from scratch or use a pre-built version.

02Key Features of the Agent OS

  • Hermes Oracle: Pulls trending news from Twitter, categorizes it, and lets you draft blog posts or social posts to WordPress in one click.
  • Hermes Jarvis: A voice-activated version of Hermes. It can open websites, apps, and even control your computer in real time.
  • Paperclip: Lets you build a team of agents that work 24/7. They complete tasks and show a checklist of what they did.
  • Free Claude Code: Lets you use local or free APIs with the Claude Code harness.
  • Loop Engineering: Built-in for automating repetitive workflows.
  • Video and Music Agents: Generate video and music content directly inside the system.
  • Outreach Tool: Helps you do outreach with a Hermes agent, and can even generate leads on the spot.

03How to Set Up Your Own Agent OS

  1. Go to the AI Profit Boardroom classroom and find the latest version of the agent OS under “new daily updates.”
  2. Watch the video tutorial that comes with it—it was updated today.
  3. Download the zip file to install the agent OS on your computer.
  4. Customize it however you want. For example, Jay Parsons built his own team of agents with Paperclip in one day.
  5. If you want free Claude Code, either go to the GitHub project or use the pre-built version inside the agent OS.
  6. Connect your email and other services using the connector button in settings.

04How to Use It: Examples from the Episode

With the agent OS, you can automate many tasks. For example, Hermes Oracle can pull the latest trending news from Twitter daily. It categorizes the news and links to the original posts.

Then you can draft a blog post to WordPress without logging in, all for SEO.

Hermes Jarvis works with voice. In the episode, Julian says, “Hey Jarvis, open up juliangoldi.com,” and it opens the website. He also opens Google and the Obsidian app.

You can switch between auto and agent modes. Auto mode is faster. Agent mode gives more control, like editing files locally.

Paperclip lets you create a team of agents. You can see a checklist of tasks they completed and view their work in a gallery. This is useful when you have multiple agents like Claude and Hermes and want them to work together.

05Results and Comparisons from the Episode

Julian shows real results from community members. Jay Parsons used the agent OS to build a CEO agent that autonomously defined a three-pillar business strategy, hired two specialist agents, and created a live task force. Patrice built a three-layer omni-channel CRM and automation hub for his travel websites and mobile app—without being a coder.

For tools, Julian compared NA10, MCP, and Claude/Hermes. He recommends NA10 over MCP for beginners, but says Claude or Hermes are better than NA10 because they are no-code versions. For free Claude Code, he shows how to use local or free APIs.

He also tested Jarvis response times. Before, it took 10–15 seconds. After adding ChatGPT’s new API for real-time talk, it now responds in 1–2 seconds.

06Tips, Limits, and Mistakes to Avoid

Simplify: Julian’s top tip is to keep things simple. For a morning brief, just ask Claude to set it up with a Grok API to search news and connect your inbox.

Focus on one tool: Switching between OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, and GenSpark can cause shiny object syndrome. Pick one tool and master it. Julian recommends Hermes if you can’t use Claude.

Set guardrails: With Jarvis, don’t let it do anything you’re not comfortable with. Set clear rules and permissions.

Use spaced repetition: Julian recommends Anki flashcards to remember what you learn. Plug your notepad into Anki for better retention.

Model downtime: If Claude goes down, switch to Hermes or GLM 5.2. Having separate CLIs makes this easy.

07Who Should Use an Agent OS and Why It Matters

An agent operating system is for anyone learning AI, especially non-coders. Julian says many members are not technical, yet they build apps, websites, and automation workflows. If you want to do SEO, content creation, or outreach, an agent OS can save you time.

It matters because it brings all your AI tools together. You can plug in different models like Hermes, Claude, or Paperclip and control them in one place. This reduces confusion and helps you build real skills.

The community aspect is also key. In the AI Profit Boardroom, members share wins and tutorials daily. Julian answers every question personally with a video tutorial.

There are 123 people online at the time of recording, so help is always available.

08Getting Your Own Agent OS and Community Support

You can get the full agent OS setup inside the AI Profit Boardroom. Go to the classroom, then “new daily updates,” and you’ll find the latest version with a video tutorial, last update date, and a zip file to install it.

There are new tutorials daily based on the latest AI developments. You also get four weekly coaching calls, where you can share your screen and ask questions. You can even meet people in your local area who are building with AI agents.

The community is a big part of learning. Members like Goolam and Mike say they joined for the trainings but stayed for the friends. You can connect with Julian personally via direct message.
