The script showcases China’s open-source GLM 5.2 from ZAI, highlighting projects built with simple prompts—open-world and 3D games, websites, apps, and automated video creation—assembled in a single morning. The presenter claims GLM 5.2 performs near Claude Opus 4.8 on frontier SWE benchmarks, beats GPT-5.5 and Gemini 3.1 Pro on several benchmarks, ranks highly on Design Arena, and is far cheaper while being runnable locally. They demonstrate integrating GLM 5.2 into the Hermes agent system (including a voice-activated “Hermes Jarvis”) to run teams of agents that research keywords, write and judge SEO posts, and iteratively produce and edit videos, citing traffic growth for two websites. The video ends promoting the AI Profit Boardroom’s agent operating system, setup files, prompts, coaching calls, tutorials, and community.

China's GLM 5.2 is absolutely outrageous and I'm going to show you some of the stuff we built with it. You can see some examples of really cool things. This is frontier level intelligence at a level I've never seen before when it comes to Chinese AI. Here's another example.
So this is a full open world game we've created. Number one it looks pretty amazing like in terms of the colors and everything and number two this was just coded out with like just one single simple prompt and it can build amazing things as you can see right here. The graphics are super nice. Here's another thing that we built out.
Here's another one. There you go. Here's another one as well. So if we play this you can see like how wild this is right like it's a lot of fun to build these things out and it can just automate anything and this is not just for games just like kind of visual examples to show you but you can automate a whole world.
You can for example automate tools, games, websites, apps and this is all things that we've just built in a single morning since the benchmarks came out. So it's absolutely shocking what you can build with this and how you can build with it and also how easy it is. So I'll show you exactly how to use it in a second. Here's another example.
You can build like full 3D games etc and the thing I've seen about this as well is it's actually outperforming on many benchmarks GPD 5.5. It absolutely dominates and crushes Gemini 3.1 Pro on the benchmarks. It's way cheaper and it's right up there with something like Claude Opus 4.8. Now you may say as well okay it's not as good as 4.8.
I would agree with you. I'm 100% with you if you believe that but at the same time bear in mind like for the Claude coding plan we're paying like $200 a month whereas for example this to build all of this out was like $80 and I've not even come close to hitting the token limit. Plus one of the biggest differences here is that we can actually plug GLM 5.2 into our Hermes agent. So we've got Hermes Jarvis here.
It's a voice activated version of Hermes and basically we can control it and I can plug in my coding plan with GLM 5.7 to automate whatever I want with it. Whereas for example if you're using something like Claude you can't plug it into Hermes. Good luck using an AI agent. You can't right which means you're a massive disadvantage.
So if you've never used this before, if you don't know what GLM 5.2 is or you just want to see how to build with it, this guide is for you. I want to talk you through everything and let's kick it off. So GLM 5.2 is from ZAI and ZAI is Jirpu. It's quite a small AI lab in China.
They come from Beijing and you can see an example of their benchmarks right here. Now they were basically non-existent about a year ago. No one had even heard of them and now you can see they're right up there with GLM 5.1. If I actually open up my Twitter thread it has been bombarded with announcements about GLM 5.2 today.
So it's pretty wild and if you look at the benchmarks here you can see for Frontier SWE, so Long Horizon Task Completion, which is you know where you can give agents a task and they just go off of it for hours. Or you can see here that for Frontier SWE, Claude Opus of course killing it. But GLM 5.2, 74.4. They are so close and you might say well benchmarks, we don't care about those.
Benchmarks, they don't matter. I would agree with you. That's why I built out all that cool stuff before, just to test it out for myself and see it was actually good and it was actually good. And you can see here for example if we compare this versus GLM 5.2, it's within one percent.
74.4 versus 75.1. If we look at GPT 5.5, not even in the race really and where is Gemini 3.1 Pro it's not in the race at all. It's not even up there. It's not even comparable on the benchmarks and I think this is pretty shocking for Google because they've got to bounce back now with 3.5 Pro.
That's got to come out soon otherwise they are lagging behind all three of these models. And bear in mind, GPT 5.5, totally closed. Claude Opus 4.8, totally closed. GLM 5.2, open source my friends.
Open source. That means that if you have a good setup, you can just go and run this locally for free forever. How insane is that? How insane is that?
And you can see some of the cool stuff we've built with it. This is like a full open world game here. It's not like we're just building trash. This is actually pretty interesting stuff that we've built and this is without even trying.
We just spent a couple hours, not like we've spent months creating this. You can also for example create videos as you can see right here and because we've got Hermes working with this, we can have a team of Hermes agents. They just chip away and create an amazing avatar like you can see and then they go off and automate this fully for us. It's wild.
This is wild stuff. I've never seen this before. Now you might be saying, okay, does it beat Claude Opus 4.8 at anything? You can see it's actually ranked number one on design arena.
First on design arena, right? It's got an elo of 1360 which means that it has jumped ahead on this shocking. This actually shocks me and whether this is like, I don't know. Again, try it for yourself and I've tried it for myself.
I really like it but you can see here that it has jumped ahead of Claude Fable 5. How outrageous is that? That is outrageous. Claude Fable 5 is so powerful.
It got taken down a couple of days ago and already GLM 5.2 Chinese open source model has overtaken Claude Fable 5, let alone Claude Opus 4.8 and this is really shocking but I've seen that, you know, in the stuff that I've built before. You saw the UI, like it looks nice. This is creating nice stuff. Now, let's be honest here.
Is it better than Opus 4.8? No. I've said that already and some people comment and say, ah blah blah blah. Claude is better.
Claude will always be better but bear in mind this is open source, free to use locally. You can run it privately and it's only getting better faster. Could Chinese models compete like this a year ago? No, right?
And if Claude Opus has to take down models like Claude Fable 5, then China are going to catch up undeniably. They're already catching up and it's cheaper and you can use it with your agents. If you look here, for example, Fable 5 is number one on this agentic arena leaderboard but GLM 512 is not far away. Bear in mind, it's higher than Google.
This tiny little Chinese AI lab that nobody's heard of is out competing Google. How shocking is that? That scares me, like genuinely scares me. Like for me, I mean, I think competition is good but it scares me that a company like Google can't compete with a tiny AI lab from China.
That scares me, genuinely. You can see the other benchmarks here. So you've got, for example, GLM 5.2 and this is a new version, leaps and bounds ahead of GLM 5.1, which I think just came out last month or about six weeks ago, something like that. You got Opus 4.8, which is crushing on benchmarks, of course, but this is Google, this is GLM 5.2, this is Google, this is GLM 5.2, this is Chat GPT and it's very, very, very close, right?
The other thing to note here as well is you've got you've got Chat GPT, which is like they're spending billions, like billions. I think I actually saw a headline this morning that said they spent or lost like three and a half billion this year already. Now compare that to an AI lab that's making everything open source, it's tiny and it's just building crazy stuff like this. But now you kind of get the full context of the situation.
So it does scare me, it's super powerful, it's unbelievably good. I mean, for example, here we actually made a comparison between Opus 4.8 and GLM 5.2 and look at those side by side, like they look very, very similar. If we have a look, for example, at this test right here, so this is GLM 5.2, this is Opus 4.8. Let's start them both.
Which one looks better? Of course, this is one, right? This one looks way more interesting. This is just like a couple of blocks and a colorful chart.
So in some ways, Opus 4.8 actually can't compete. Here's another example of a test and I'm just showing you the stuff where GLM 5.2 won in this example, but you can see here that in this liquid bowl test, you can see the Chord Opus 4.8 creates something super boring, GLM 5.2 creates something interesting. That's the difference. Again, this website looks nicer than this one from Opus 4.8.
Now, it's not all like that. So for example, you look at this test side by side, Opus 4.8 clearly beat GLM 5.2, but you get the picture. You know, this is moving fast and it's getting crazy and this is really interesting. It's super interesting.
Fascinating, in fact. And so this is what we're looking at and this is what we're creating and this is how it's working, etc. And the thing that I would say here is if we have a look at this too, so if we go over here, we actually created something super interesting, which was a team of GLM 5.2 agents. And they're really good, very powerful for creating SEO content and also for automating videos too.
So let me show you an example of this. So what we can do with Hermes agent, and I'll pull this up side by side so you can see what we're doing. So we have a team of Chinese AI agents over here and they just work together on a to-do list app, like a Kanban board, but it's powered by AI agents. We drop in a task and they can like go off and create SEO content and they can also create videos, which you can see fully edited here with a team of agents working together.
So for example, we have like a video builder, we have a content editor, we have a content judge, etc. And we can see the verdict and we can see that they self-iterate and give feedback to the team and they keep going and going and going until it's finally done. And so what happens here is like we give it one keyword, the one agent does the research, one agent does the keyword research, one agent will actually write the post, a judge looks at if it's good enough. If it's not good enough, it goes back to the researcher and the writer.
If it is good enough, then we can create a blog post, we can create a video from that whole process and all of it's unique. And so you've got these agents that work together. We actually grew two websites using this similar process with Hermes agents, so it's a team of agents. They grew our traffic for the airprofitboarding.com and also the airsuccesslabjuliangolding.com.
It's pretty wild, right? Now if you're wondering, okay, what does the actual finished video look like? Here's an example and it's beautifully edited because we had that team of agents just iterating and improving over and over again until the video was basically as good as it could be. Now also here's another example.
So this is the blog post that we published and so it can take a keyword, plug it into an article, design it beautifully, organize it, format it and then publish it. And all I do, this is all I do, is plug in a task here and my agents just get to work. They just get stuff done and that's what we're talking about. That's what we like to see.
So if you've never used glm 5.2 before, there's really two main ways to use it, which is you can plug it into Hermes and you can use it with AI agents. And then number two, you can use the CLI and then you can build stuff. We've actually plugged both into our agent operating system just so that like I can get the benefit of both together. You can also get that if you want inside the agent, inside the AI profit boardroom if you want to.
But yeah, it's pretty wild what you can do here and how you can do it and how easy it is to to create all of this amazing stuff. Now some people say, why would you use an agent operating system? Because you don't want to be switching between tabs and using Claude in one tab and then Terminal in another and then you've got, for example, GLM in another tab. Like that would be super annoying.
The other thing as well, your agents can work together as a team. And additionally, anything that you do day to day, like you see for example here, we just get our AI agents to automate so that I just click a button and it's done, right? Girlfriend says make me a song, we get it done, right? We need to create an image, no problem, we got it.
We need to create a video, no problem, we got it. And so like these are actionable use cases you would actually use every single day because you're building the workflows that you spend your time on so you never have to spend time on them again. And some people like they say they see me everywhere or they see how much content I create and they ask how I do it. This is how, this is how, because we've got amazing systems that help us.
Like even if I have an idea, I just drop it in here, boom shakalaka, GLM 5.2, can just implement it and then you can see everything that we've actually created over here and we can just preview it, right? And this is all stuff we've actually created and built using these systems that I'm talking about. So if you've never used GLM 5.2, if you're thinking about using it, if you're wondering okay how good is it actually, you've seen proof and I've spent hours testing this out for you just to help you as much as I can. So just to recap, you learn that GLM 5.2 is super powerful, builds amazing stuff, super fun, you can plug into your agents and you know how to build a system around it.
Now if you want to build your crew around this, if you want GLM 5.2 working alongside your AR agents, grab the agent operating system inside the AR Profitable Boarding, which turns Claude, Hermes, your agents into one system with shared memory and one dashboard. If you want that whole agent operating system that makes everything 10 times more powerful, you can get it inside the AR Profitable Boarding. Link in the comments description or go to the arprofitableboarding.com. The full agent operating system zip file and the GLM 5.2 setup with Hermes as well as in there.
You can get every prompt, the memory system that we have as well, four weekly coaching calls where we set it up and wire it together, a 30-day roadmap, daily tutorials and member maps you can meet people near you. And you might think well this is too technical or people, real people, wouldn't actually use this Julian. And you can see here that so many people are building with this agent operating system and creating amazing stuff with it that if they're doing it, I know that you can do it and you'll get a lot of benefit out of it too. And we've actually got pages of testimonials from people winning with this stuff.
So I know like when I see so many wins, I know that if they can do it, if I can do it, if Ethan who's 61 and not a coder can do it, if for example Eric can build it out and absolutely loves it, then I know that everyone watching will probably enjoy it too.
