Gemini just dropped a notebooks feature and it changes how you use AI completely. This isn't a small update, Google just built something that turns Gemini into a second brain and it's rolling out right now. Here's what's actually happening. Up until now, Gemini was just a chat bar.

You'd go in, ask something, maybe get a decent answer, then you close the tab and you lose everything, right, all the context and every session is basically a blank slate. It does have a bit of memory but you can't silo these off and it's not that useful, it's not that specific. There was no memory of what you uploaded, no way to group your work, no way to actually build on anything over time. That's what's changing today.

Google announced Gemini notebooks and what this does is bring the best parts of notebook LM directly into Gemini. So now, instead of bouncing between two different tools, it's all in one place. Let me tell you exactly what it includes. You can now upload up to 100 sources for free.

PDFs, documents, links, research, all of it. You can drop it in, Gemini reads it, understands it and keeps it all organized in one place. So you're not copying and pasting into a chat window anymore. You've got Gemini and it's fed with a full library of your material and then you can have actual conversations with it and those conversations are now grouped.

Multiple chats all inside one, for example, and you could have this all inside one notebook. So you could have, for example, a notebook for SEO, a notebook for learning AI automation, a notebook for AI agents or for your clients. So if you're working on a project, let's say, for example, a content strategy or a sales pitch or a product launch, everything related to that project lives together. You open it, it's all there.

The context, the sources, the chat history, you pick up exactly where you left off. It's basically a second brain. On top of that, it syncs directly with NotebookLM. So your sources, your chats, even your emojis, all of it syncs across.

So if you are already using NotebookLM, you don't have to choose anymore. They work together. Joss Woodward, VP at Google Labs, described it this way. Most AI chatbots give you basic projects.

Gemini just built you a second brain. And honestly, that's pretty accurate. Think about what this actually means for how you work. If you run a business, you're dealing with information constantly, like client briefs, market research, competitor analysis, product docs, strategy notes.

And right now, you're probably juggling all of that across like five different tools or tabs and folders, right? And you're going through this whole copy and paste grind with no context and no sort of saved memory between them. Gemini Notebooks lets you centralize all of that. So you can upload it, organize it, and talk to it.

One agency owner could use this to store every client's brand guidelines, past campaigns, and competitive research inside one notebook per client. And then they could ask Gemini to write copy, build proposals, or spot gaps, all using that specific client's material. That's a shift. You're not just asking Gemini questions anymore.

You're giving it your actual business context and then working with it. If you want to know how to set this up in your business, how to build Gemini Notebooks into your daily workflow, and actually start saving hours every week, come join us in the AI Profit Boarding. We've got daily step-by-step tutorials showing you exactly how to implement this. And the moment features like this land, we walk you through exactly how to use them for lead gen, for getting more customers, for saving time, and for automating content.

We've got 2,800 business owners in there already, a lot of them using NotebookLM. So link in the comments description or go to the AIProfitBoarding.com if you want to learn this stuff. Now here's where it gets more interesting. This is rolling out on the web version right now.

Ultra users get it first, then pro, then plus, then free users. So depending on your plan, you may already have access. You can go and check. It's worth doing right now because the source alone upload is massive.

And 100 free sources is genuinely significant. So NotebookLM already allowed this previously, but NotebookLM was a separate tool you had to go and use deliberately. It was kind of more like a media generation tool. Gemini is where most people are already sitting.

So bringing that capacity into your main AI workspace means fewer barriers. It means you don't have to remember to switch tools. You just work and it's all focused in one place. And the chat grouping feature is more useful than it sounds too.

Right now, if you've been using Gemini at all, your chats are just a list and they disappear, right? There's no structure, there's no context. Unless you bookmark stuff, it's rare that you're going to come back to an old chat. So the annoying thing about it is you have to scroll through looking for something from three days ago.

The good thing about Notebooks is it fixes that. So you create a Notebook for a project and all related chats live inside it. It's organized, it's searchable, it actually makes sense. The integration with NotebookLM is the part that also makes this a serious research tool.

So NotebookLM was already one of the best free AI tools for handling large amounts of source material. And it was trained to summarize, cross-reference, and pull insights from documents. Google built something really powerful there. Now that capability lives inside Gemini too.

So source syncing, chat syncing, all of it. Google Japan actually confirmed the rollout is live now, starting with the web version. So what should you actually do with this? Well, if you create content, start a Notebook for each series or topic, you could feed it your research, your past scripts, your competitor examples.

You could have Gemini help you write angles, write new outlines, and spot what you've missed in your existing content. If you do client work, you could have one Notebook per client with the brief, the research, the deliverables, all inside there. And you could ask Gemini to help you prepare faster, to write smarter, and not to miss anything. And if you're in marketing, you could upload your ICP research, your offers, your competitors messaging.

You could use it as a thinking partner that actually knows your market. And the pattern here is simple. Stop using AI as a one-off question machine, right? That's just basically a search machine.

You might as well use Google if you're going to do that, right? Instead, what you want to do is start using it as a collaborator that holds your context and grows with your work. Because the more you use these Notebooks, the better they get, because they get trained on more and more context. And the more context they have, the better they get again, right?

That's what Notebooks makes possible. And here's why this matters just beyond Gemini. Because Google is making a clear move here. They built Notebook LM as a research tool.

It got popular, and now they're pulling that technology directly into the main AI product because people like it so much. And this is the direction things are going. AI tools that don't just answer you, but actually know you, your work, your documents, your history, and build on that context. The gap between people using AI properly and people just dabbling is going to get much wider from here.

The people who set this up, who actually build their workflows around it, are going to move way faster, right? Do more, serve clients better. And the people who ignore it are going to keep doing everything manually, wondering why they're losing ground, why they're wasting time, why they can't figure this automation stuff out. So if you're serious about using Gemini Notebooks to actually grow your business, not just play with it, we've built a 30-day roadmap inside the airport for boarding, specifically around AI-powered workflows for content, for lead gen, for client delivery.

We've got tons of training on Notebook LM as well, and we've got coaching calls every week, daily tutorials, 2,800 members who are already running these tools in their business, and a lot of them use Google's AI stack specifically. And there's always someone online to help. Link in the comments description, or go to the AIprofitboard.com to get access. Gemini just got a second brain, and the question is whether you're going to use it, right?

I would start looking at, okay, what do I spend my time on, and what do I wish the AI knew, or always had a memory of, that I could come back to? I'll give you an example. So I've actually got a project on Claude where I train it on how to write scripts, right? And so I can easily pull that into a Notebook, and then I can come back to that Notebook every time, right?

And that's something I would use daily. And so that's a super useful way to get the most out of this. And for you, it could be, for example, blog writing. It could be script writing.

It could be even like answering customer FAQs. Whatever you want, you can now automate with Notebooks, and it just saves a lot of time, and it has so much context. Plus, the beautiful thing about something like this is, it's way easier to use than something like OpenCLR, so you can save a lot of time. Thanks for watching.

I'll see you on the next one. Cheers, bye-bye.
