237 ways to use Hermes Agent for free. I'm about to show you 237 real ways people are using Hermes Agent right now to save time, get more done, and automate their entire life. And I mean everything. Automatically sorting your emails every morning and posting the summary straight into Slack.

Building and launching full websites in minutes. Even fixing your other AI tools when they actually break, for example, like OpenClaw. And the best part is you don't need to be a developer. You don't need to know how to code.

In this video, I want to walk you through the most powerful use cases from the list and show you exactly how to set them up yourself step by step. Let's get into it. Today, we're going to be talking about over 100 use cases for Hermes Agent. Now, there's actually 237 use cases inside here, which is super powerful. And these are all different ways that people are using Hermes.

Now, Hermes actually looked through all the ways that people are using Hermes Agent and then created this collection right here, which is pretty cool. You can actually see I've been featured over here, which is nice. They talked about my Substack post here, which was pretty awesome. But essentially, they've created this page, which is a collection of all the most useful ways that you can use Hermes Agent.

So, if you're not sure how to use Hermes, what to use it for, etc., then I'm going to run you through some of the best ways you can use it and how it works, etc. So, let's talk about this. So, for example, one of the most interesting ones here is someone has set up every weekday at 9 a.m., summarize the inbox and post to Slack, right? So, essentially, what this does is this is a Substack article, as you can see right here from Anthony.

And this is an example of how you can use it. It's a really powerful agent. But what you can do is you could schedule a task every day inside Hermes that looks at your email inbox and then posts that summary to Slack directly. And it's pretty easy to set up these automations.

If you're not sure how to do it, what you can actually do here is you can just go inside Hermes and you can say, hey, I've got this idea, how do I automate it? So, if I was like, okay, if I want to summarize my inbox plus post to Discord weekly at 9 a.m., how would you do it? Plus, what tools do you need access to? And so, any of these use cases that you see, you can basically plug in the idea into Hermes, give it the details of what you want it to do, and then it will think about it and come back to you with the answers in terms of what you can improve and how you can set this up directly, right?

And so, any of the use cases you're seeing here, you can pretty much set up yourself and Hermes will guide you through it directly, which is one of the best things about this. Like, one of the cool things that I've found with Hermes as well is like it makes everything easy and smooth to use and set up, right? So, you can see here, here's how I do it, right? I do it as a scheduled task with a two-step flow.

Step number one would be pull and summarize inbox. Step number two would be post summary to Discord. Makes sense. Here's how I build it.

And then it gives you multiple options. So, it's like the simplest and the best way to do this is you can set up a scheduled task that looks for your inbox, summarizes most important messages, decisions, follow-ups, delegated items, anything urgent, and then post that final digest to Discord, right? And then it will actually tell you, okay, here's what I need access to to do this, right? So, the minimum that I need access to is the email inbox itself with Himalaya configured and then also Discord delivery, right?

So, it needs the Discord delivery access to your channel and then Chrome scheduling, which it's already got, right? And so, it gives you a list of everything it needs, how it's set up and how we do it, right? And so, here's what I need to actually make this working. Boom.

And so, you can set up and automate anything that you want using Hermes Agent with these use cases. It's really awesome. Let's have a look at some other ideas of what we can do here. So, this is pretty cool too.

Told it to Google me and ship a landing page, right? So, basically, you can get your agent to create like a personal website about you by researching you online. Hermes Agent has access to the web. It can browse the web.

It can do a lot of good research, et cetera. And then it can deploy websites for you. The way that I would normally do this is I would give it access to Firecrawl so that with Firecrawl, it can actually search the web inside Hermes, which I've already done. And then once you've done that, you can actually deploy landing pages to Netlify, right?

So, you can use this for creating blog posts or whatever you want. But using Netlify, we can deploy content using this process right here. And it's super easy and simple to set up. So, that's one of the best ways you can do it.

Let's see what else we've got here. This is interesting, right? Side-by-side, Hermes troubleshoots OpenClaw, right? So, you can have OpenClaw, and this is something that I do all the time actually, and particularly when OpenClaw has been so buggy recently, right?

So, if we go inside OpenClaw here, and we say, okay, working, and we'll just check if it's actually working. I have a feeling like it's not gonna work, but let's see what happens next. Yeah, so you can see here, it's taking way too long to reply, right? So, how do we fix that?

What we can do over here is we can go inside Hermes and use that to troubleshoot for us with OpenClaw. So, if we wanted to have Hermes agent using this use case, which is troubleshooting and working side-by-side with OpenClaw, here's the way that we do it, right? I would paste that into Hermes here, and then I'm gonna get the information on GitHub reOpenClaw. I'm gonna paste that in too.

I wanna say, help me fix the issues with OpenClaw, e.g. it's not responding to me. And then if we go inside here, I can take this information, like paste that in. And basically, we can actually use Hermes to look at the issues.

And because they're both running locally, they were OpenClaw running locally, we have Hermes running locally. Hermes can look at OpenClaw and the setup and figure out what are the problems here, based on the GitHub and also the logs inside terminal. Typical thing here is that Hermes has a skill, which is systematic debugging, right? And so what this means, essentially, is it has a skill specifically for fixing problems on stuff like this, especially locally.

And so if you're finding OpenClaw is super buggy and you want Hermes to fix it, then this is a way that you can do it. This is a funny comment there. Just don't use OpenClaw, is one of the comments from Bagger. Honestly, recently, I've stopped using OpenClaw as well.

So I don't blame you. I think the old updates, OpenClaw will be good again one day. And the older updates, if you're still on one of the older versions of OpenClaw, it's actually a lot better. It was working way better.

But yeah, now it doesn't seem to reply or start when we want it. So yeah, that's another way to fix that problem. But if you want Hermes to help you fix it, this is how you do it. Now, this is pretty cool too.

So Hermes Desktop. So you can have Hermes Desktop as a native Mac app that sits next to your terminal, right? Let me show you an example of how this works. So there's something called Hermes Desktop and it's a free Mac app that you can use in combination with Hermes.

And so the reason that you'd use this is because this is all code, right? This is all terminal code, kind of off-putting for most people who are not technical. And 99% of people are going to read that and not really understand what's going on. So how can you get a better UI?

One of the best ways you can do this with is you can use Hermes Desktop, right? Hermes Desktop, which you can see right here. We've already installed it, as you can see. And this loads up like a beautiful UI for us to manage Hermes Agent directly.

And we have the sessions, the profiles, the office, the models. We can manage everything inside a nice UI. We can even edit the persona and the personality of this really quickly. We can edit the memory.

We can edit the tools, et cetera. It's just super easy. Look at this, it's crazy. Look at that, 10,000 messages with Hermes.

I've messaged Hermes 10,000 times. That is wild. And we can also chat with it. So that's a really cool way to use it as well, right?

Now you can see over here, it's responding now inside OpenClaw. So Hermes actually fixed Hermes, but it's like, this is still a little bit messy, right? And here's why. And so the most important parts to fix it are this and this, right?

And so it can easily start fixing everything for you and work side-by-side with OpenClaw so you can get better outputs and also troubleshoot quicker. So that's a really powerful way to just get the most out of OpenClaw by using Hermes agent directly. So we've covered all of the best use cases for OpenClaw, sorry, for Hermes. There are 237 here.

So it's all fixed, which is great. Hermes is just insanely good for fixing stuff. So you've seen what's possible with Hermes agent. Some examples, I've shown you practical examples in reality and how you can set all of these up.

Let's talk about some limiting beliefs that are holding people back, right? When it comes to using Hermes agents. Some people say Hermes agent is only for tech people and developers. Honestly, if you can follow instructions, you can use Hermes agent to automate almost anything, right?

What is the minimum hardware required to run Hermes Desktop? I've actually seen people running it on the Raspberry Pi. You can run it on pretty much anything. It's super lightweight.

Let's see what else we got here. I managed to install Hermes and then I just prompt it to make what I wanted. And now I learned how to use it and build stuff. I love Hermes.

Oh, congrats, that's amazing. The fact that it's able to fix itself is insane. Yeah, it is, it's really powerful. Can I use the Hermes UI from the phone?

Yes, you can. So the way that you do this, if you wanna use Hermes UI is, I don't know about Hermes UI directly, but with Hermes Workspace, you can, right? So you would use the phone section over here and you can run it from iPhone, iPad, et cetera. And you can set this up on Docker and then have it running from wherever.

So that's the way that I would look at it. But better mind as well, you can connect it to Telegram or you can connect it to WhatsApp or Discord and then you can contact it directly via your phone as well.
