Kimi K3 is INSANE! (Fable 5 Killer?)

Gimmick K3 is absolutely insane. So this is probably the most impressive and powerful model I've tested. You can judge for yourself. If you don't like the results, it's okay, but I've built over 50 different models using this.

I've tested out 50 different real world prompts and we're gonna try it out and I'll just run you through some of the stuff that we've built so far. So this one is a crypt game, as you can see, it's got like a nice UI. And then for example, we can collect items along the way and it's looking really smooth. Now we've tested this out on GoldieBench so you can test and actually play all the stuff that we've created if you wanna check it out.

Gimmick K3 itself is an open source Chinese model just dropped yesterday. And you can get it on the Gimmick coding plan or you can just go to gimmick.com as well to test out. It's also available on open router and it's gonna be open waits from June, sorry, July 27th, so 10 days ago, 10 days away. So good thing about that is that it will be open source.

And I will say this is a huge step up. Gimmick K2.7 was kind of like impressive at first and then GLM 5.2 came out and crushed it. But I'll genuinely say the Gimmick K3 is unbelievable. It's one of the best models.

I would say it's in many ways, it is beating Fable 5 and it's beating GPD 5.6. It's just super cool. I mean, like look at the graphics, look at the snow falling down, how beautiful the 3D horizon is, the details on this, the ambience. The gameplay is like, you know, meh.

But apart from that, it's all pretty good. Let's keep going now. So this racing game impressed me too. It's kind of fun to play.

We can speed up for smashing into a barrier. We basically have to dodge the obstacles as you can see right here, but it's a lot of fun to play. And you can speed up and it's got a good balance between like being difficult, but being fun as well and being actually enjoyable. And then it also feels like really fast and fun to play with.

So those are three of the demos so far. Let's keep blasting through them. So we've got Skyrim, Light. As you can see, like just look at the bit.

It's what a time to be alive. Look at that like entrance screen, the introduction. It looks really cool. It's fun to play.

It looks amazing. Again, like I think anything visual, anything like 3D, where you, for example, create a game or something like this, this might be one of the best ways to do it. Having said that, you will see that some of the graphics are kind of a bit meh again. So it's not like, for example, every single 3D game is perfect.

I still think like they can make them a lot more fun and we could probably prompt it better to be fair on that as well. But so far it's been pretty good as well. Here's another one. So this is Voxel Craft.

One thing that I noticed about this generation is that it actually gave us water, right? Now, when I was testing this out with Fable 5, with GT 516 Soul, et cetera, we didn't have water. We didn't have like a swimming pool that we could just float around in. So it's doing things that I didn't expect.

The same with that game I just showed you a second ago, like the dragon coming from the sky with the fire. I haven't seen that before in any other game they've created. It's kind of like a GTA style game. We can zoom in with the camera over here and then we can shoot as well.

We can shoot these characters. This one probably needs a bit more time to code out and just make the details better, but it is crazy what you can do with this. Like it is fun. Yeah.

Now we also have a GTA version of like a driving game style. So you can see that here. Again, like the camera and everything, it's interesting. It is interesting.

I think I just need to find a better way to code out the actual characters, but it looks nice. And the other thing that I noticed here is like a lot of this stuff is working first time around. This is a promo video that KimiK3 built us using ReMotion. And like, if you look at this, what it's actually done out, again, it's doing things that I've never seen before in ways I've never considered.

So when we're using this AI, for example, what you can see here is that it's got this background with the website and the website is moving around, but then we have the video over the top overlaid. And we also have a progress bar at the bottom. Now I have never seen that before with any other AI that we've tested this with. And it also zooms in, zooms out.

So it's almost like it's doing things in a way that I didn't expect, which I don't know how I feel about that, but it's quite strange to see. Here's another one. So this is a parachute drop. And by the way, like these games, especially stuff like this, this can go terribly wrong.

Like we tested out with HY3 and a lot of the models, no matter how many times we tried to build them with HY3 from Tencent, they just didn't work. Whereas this one is just very, very impressive. I will also say it is scary how fast these models are advancing. Let's just see how we're doing here.

So if we look around like the landscape, the terrain, we could probably make that better, but the graphics and the physics are really nice too. The video was super nice. I genuinely think you could use QEK3 for business related stuff, like creating videos, creating promos, all that sort of thing, super fun. Now we have a kind of neon breakout game.

This was pretty standard, honestly. We built the same thing with Kimi and Fable 5 and everything else. This is pretty standard. Like there's nothing special with that.

So we'll look at this one. This one didn't seem to work, actually. I think we need to generate that again. Let's see what else we got here.

So this is a neon driving game. I like the camera angle, the view, the vibe. It's fun and it's fast play. You can actually speed it up even more and it gets wild when you look at this.

You can see we can just move around like so. And something about the colors, when it's coding out, it makes the colors really, really nice. Now, if you compare that to, for example, some of the stuff that we've done with Fable 5, you'll see it on GoldieBench. This is way, way different.

This is another one. It's a really fun racer game. And this is like a synthwave racer as well. Actually, what's interesting about this is when we created the synthwave racer with other models, it never had this car in the middle.

So it's almost like adding different elements that I've never seen before in a way that I didn't expect. And I think you'll find that too. It will surprise you, this model. It is just interesting.

You'll see more cars in the front here that we can overtake too. Trying to get round here. But yeah, it's pretty cool. Oh, we have some more stuff.

So this kind of reminds me of Zelda or Pokemon, like a Skyview RPG game with different characters over here. And then we can go and play against them. It's smooth. It's fun to play.

Kind of feels a little bit like Zelda as well. But again, it just works. Like, and you could easily build this stuff out. The other thing that I saw with Kimigay 3 is that it can self-improve itself very quickly.

So it can like, if you're building a game out, it can screenshot it, look at the code, and then improve the code in real time and then screenshot it again. So you can self-iterate when it's building this stuff out. It's pretty nice. I don't even know what this is, but I like it.

It just looks super futuristic. The graphics are really nice here. Now you might wonder, okay, how does it do for like web design, websites and that sort of thing? So this is an example.

It's okay. I still think it ignores some of the fundamentals. So one thing that I'd recommend is if you're using Kimigay 3 and you're building websites out of them, check out my other tutorials on web design. These sort of AR models, we've got that inside the app, because you can see here, like just straight out of the box, it's cool.

But like the colors, the contrast, even the background, it looks a little bit weird. It's like, it's a nice idea, but it's not really paid off. It could be a lot better. And so what you want to do is just give it some anti-slot prompts, which you can do here.

This is interesting as well. So I've never seen an operating system generated like this before. Now this is basically an operating system with, you know, you got paint, you got terminal, you got readme, you got the notes and everything else. And then we can type in here and we can save stuff and then we can delete it.

So this is literally an operating system. It's called Nebula OS. If we click on notes here, we can type into here, like, hello. And then if we X off that, so if we click off that and then we click on notes again, you can see that actually saves it.

So it's created these programs inside an operating system, kind of like Windows or Mac OS, and then we can save that stuff and save it for later. The same with the paint, like if we just draw a smiley face on here, actually works, like looks really nice. This is a kind of black hole simulation. And again, it looks super nice.

Really interesting colors, good vibe. You can zoom in, zoom out, works perfectly. It was so interesting to build stuff like this because I can see how GLM typically designs stuff and it does use this style, like the ambient colors, the way that it's so smooth. It's got a very unique style when it codes and builds things out.

Here's another example, like some flying birds in the sky, but really colorful, interesting stuff. And the way this is so smooth and the way we can direct the birds, it looks really, really good. Over here, we tested out the physics and the graphics with Kimmy. So we can chuck this over here.

We can spin this round. We can test how the cloth falls on the ball. But overall, creates really nice, really nice graphics. You can see how the cloth just falls on the ball there.

So we can move it around and it just works. It just works. This one again, really crazy colors. Can play with this all day.

There's something about it. When you see something AI generated like this, it just catches your eye, right? The colors look really, really good. This one, I was kind of like, okay, that's pretty average.

There was a couple of things as well that didn't work. So for example, this interactive particle nebula didn't work at all. This one too, but overall looking really great. So a room simulator, it's pretty nice.

This one, we can change the dials, reset it, switch the patterns, et cetera. And then this one, we have kind of like a solar system running around as well. So you can see Jupiter spinning over here. Then we've got the sun, everything else.

This is a actual wormhole. Some of these generations are by far the best I've ever seen. And this was a simulation of the Northern Lights. So we have the moon over here, shooting stars, the clouds, and then the terrain of the Northern Lights as well.

Very beautiful. Fireworks, looking super nice. Matrix ray, classic. If we click our mouse, it can actually explode with colors and animations over here.

Lava lamp was one of the best examples of what I've seen Kimi K3 doing. And then these are all just like smaller builds, you know, terrain and that sort of thing. But overall, very impressive model. I think some of the best ways to use this are inside Hermes.

We've already created a Kimi K3 profile with Hermes Agent. We've got all of our different tools over here. And then you can run this with a memory system as well. And also we have Kimi K3 plugged in as a CLI over here as well.

So if we go over to Kimi Code, we can use Kimi K3 or K217 if we prefer, and just switch between quality fast or nothing. And everything we build with it is saved up here, which is really useful as well. But overall, amazing stuff. I mean, especially if you look at, these are like previous generations from the older version of Kimi K217.

And like a lot of the stuff just didn't work. Like the Crypt game didn't work. The Skyrim game doesn't work at all. So there's a huge generational jump between K217 and K3.

But by far, this is, I mean, it's undeniably better than Opus 4.8. If I was building something really visual and I needed it to be smooth, do you know what, I'm gonna go with Kimi K3.

I would say GLM 5.2 is nowhere near this level. So GLM has to bring something else soon. And then Fable 5, GPT 5 and 6 are under massive pressure because our open source model is really bridging the gap between China and the US. And I would say that China right now has made a giant leap with this model and it's very interesting to see.
