Paperclip + Hermes + OpenClaw + Claude is INSANE!

Today we are going to be looking at Paperclip which allows you to manage Hermes, OpenClaw, Broadcode, Codex, Cursor, all your AI agents in one single place so that essentially what you can do here is you can build an AI agent zero human company and organize all of your AI agents together and it's a free plugin all right so I'm going to show you exactly how to set this up, how to get started, how to start using Paperclip and what it can do directly so let's get started with this so we've got Paperclip on github on the left hand side and I'm going to set this up inside Clawcode just so it's easy to organize and come back to in the future too so I'm going to open up a new folder here we're going to call this Paperclip because it is a local setup and actually we've got Paperclip already set up here so let's just find the name of it here we go open up all right and then we're just going to say make sure this is installed inside Clawcode now I tend to find like Clawd is the easiest way to set the stuff up from github you could also just go to the setup instructions and clone git from Paperclip but it's a lot of work and it's like it's more difficult to set up right so you can see here that it's already set up we're running it locally and now we're going to get this set up now let's say so I'm going to say get this live so that it's running on a local host and we can open up in a dashboard so you can see here it's starting up and boom look at that we're good to go and so we got this set up over here so you see it's running locally on this address we got Clawd code to set it up and run it locally let me explain what it can do and how it works etc so this is Paperclip on the left hand side as you can see so we'll pull up the org chart and you can see um that for example we've got like the CEO AI agent here we've got open claw CMO founding agent engineer etc so imagine you've got like a team of agents they all work for you 24 7 you know you got one that's Clawd code one that's open claw one that's Hermes etc and they all run 24 7 just organizing and doing work for you that is basically Paperclip right it's one of the easiest ways to get this all set up and working together right so usually what people have is they just have one of these so for example they might just have like open core for example um but the problem with that is like you've only got one AI agent and it's not efficient when you've got for example all these different AI agents um working together with different contexts different setups etc and so the better way to set this up is you have a whole team of AI agents working together like a AI agent first company that's what we're trying to do and this is an open source project with Paperclip that lets you organize it all together it's free and you can get it set up in one click as you've seen today and it's pretty easy so most people use AI one task at a time you ask a chat GPT a question you get an answer it's done with this basically if you want AI to run your business and not just answer questions but actually do work you know write emails post content handle support build products report back to you there's a lot of tasks right and so you need all of them working together you need all of your agents working together and that's what Paperclip solves so it gives your AI agents like a boss a title job description and a goal so let me show you how it works step by step so for example here if we go to agents and we'll create a new agent right and this is our agent running it's our CEO agent right and so he's the CEO of our company we can describe what it can do we can give it a prompt template if we want we can set up a title for it as well and then we've also got this adapter working for it so this is working with Claude directly you can actually change the model that it works with Claude so this is a Claude AI agent working locally running for us 24 7 and so you could have like a team like we've also got OpenClaw running here too this one actually seems a bit messy so I'm gonna just get rid of OpenClaw the same for this one I think it's on an old setup but essentially you can have like multiple different AI agents working together building stuff out and sending you ideas right so you see how this agent is now thinking and coming up with new ideas that's what we want so how it actually works is you set the goal so as soon as you set up Paperclip it's gonna ask you to set up a goal so for example like I don't know build the number one AI note taking app right grow that that that can be your company mission and everyone in your team reports to that goal everyone's focused on that goal if you need to change your goal at any point you can just edit it over here so you can see for example I've said help grow the app offer boarding my automation community step number two is you hire the team right so you pick your AI workers so you got like a CEO agent a CTO agent engineer agents you can mix and match any agent works as well so you can have like OpenClaw, Claude, Codex, Hermes etc Hermes actually have an adapter so if you want to set up Hermes as an AI agent inside your Paperclip company you just go to the github as you can see right here and you would just set that up with Hermes to get it running from there you approve the plan right so you look at the strategy and you hit go let me show you what that looks like so for example over here if you go to our inbox our CEO will actually send us um questions right like you can see right here so it's beginning to now come up with ideas on agents and that sort of thing so if we say okay create a marketing agent it's now going to start running a task to create this now and then it will ask me like who should they report to right so if we scroll down here it's like who should they report to um I'm going to say and look it's like a board responded wants a marketing agent I'll check it out and create it right so this is the CEO of the Paperclip company just coming up with ideas on what it needs to do next it's like I'm going to create the marketing agent here's what we're going to do here's how it's going to work etc see how it's running directly here that's basically how we can create our team and then you can actually monitor this from your phone right so you can watch everything from a dashboard or on your phone etc and what makes it special is that number one your agents have a schedule right so they wake up on a schedule they check the tasks they do the work they report back to you no more forgetting to like run your agents because they're running 24 7 and so you see here it's like giving us recommendations and telling us what we need to do I'm going to say create a Facebook marketing agent comment on that and then also you can set budgets for each agent so you know when they hit the limit they stop you can set goal alignment so every single task traces back to your main mission which means your agents will work in together and they know what to do why which is pretty big and then you got the ticketing system as well so every conversation is tracked every decision is explained you get a full audit log so something goes wrong you know exactly why and then also you're the boss right so you approve everything you approve uh hires in the company you approve and override bad strategies you pause or get rid of any agents and then you can you know you have full control of this process essentially so that's basically how it works and then you can see like the issues and what's happening here and the run activity the status etc and you know one of the biggest problems that solves is like for example before paperclip you know you had like 20 different cloud code tabs open you can't remember which tab does what you sort of reboot you lose everything you copy and paste in context from like five different places to remind your agents what to do then they get stuck you forget to run something you have an idea but you can't find it right with paperclip everything is organized so tasks are organized like tickets conversations are threaded sessions survive reboots context flows automatically and you can set up budgets and also you can set up heartbeat scheduled tasks right so if we go now to our inbox you can see here that the ceo has now hired the facebook marketing specialist he's given us the type that the icon the title the role name and the capabilities and also the adapter right so whether it's on cloud or it's on open core whatever right so if we approve that now now we've got a facebook marketing ad specialist in our team right as you can see and you can again see what they've worked on see what they've done you can assign a new task so we could say okay come up with some ad ideas for our community then we can organize it like this and that's basically it right that's how you can set this all up now some people ask like which one is better multica which is another option for using this versus paperclip i might do a future video like comparing both of them but i'll give you the quick answer now which i think that honestly paperclip is better i like both of them but i do feel like you get a lot more control inside paperclip versus multica but multica is a cool option too i think you just got to check both of them out and see which one you like the thing that i would say is like when you have paperclip it feels more like you're in control it feels more intuitive plus it feels like you just get more customization right and that things are actually working i think when i set up multica as well it's hard to like sync the data from my agents directly to uh directly to multica whereas with paperclip it seems like a lot more intuitive it seemed to be less buggy basically so we're gonna put a task here add creatives create issue and then it should start working on that as you can see right and
