Run Hermes Agent FREE With This NEW Model 🤯

You can now run Hermes Agent completely free and in this video I'm going to show you exactly how to do it. So there are two free models you can now plug into Hermes Agent right now. Number one is Quen 3.6 plus and number two is Owl Alpha. Both of them are free, both have a bigger context window, the most paid models out there and both will have your agent running research, writing content, finding leads, handling tasks for you 24-7 without you paying anything.

I'm going to walk you through the full setup step by step for both of them. It takes a few minutes, it's very easy and I'll also show you something later that most people completely miss. Which one to switch when you hit limits so your agent never stops working. By the end of this video your Hermes Agent is going to be running 24-7 for free doing work for you around the clock.

Let's get into it. Today I'm going to show you how to use Hermes Agent for free with a brand new update they just released. So Quen 3.6 plus is now available for free on Noose Research. This isn't forever but you can use it for free with Hermes Agent.

So the way that you do this is you need to go to the Noose portal and then you can set up Quen 3.6 plus which is a really powerful model for using with AI agents. Now the way that we can do this is we can go over here like you can see make sure we get our account set up and then inside Hermes we need to go to Hermes setup inside the terminal right. So Hermes setup inside the terminal we switch to Noose portal that's going to open up as you can see right here we're going to select free and then connect it like you can see. So I select free there and then connect as you can see we're on the free plan and now it's connecting Hermes Agent.

So you can see here it says Hermes Agent connected. Perfect all right so now you can see that it's giving us free models here right. So inside the terminal we've logged in says login successful and then it says available free models and you can see here Quen 3.6 plus is available for free. So we're going to click on that going to type in no for fallback going to click enter through the rest of the settings and then we're just going to run Hermes over here all right and now you can see we have Quen 3.6 plus set up with Hermes right which is the free model we were talking about a second ago.

So if we just test this works yes it's working perfectly that was great super easy to set up. So you can set up a couple of minutes if you haven't installed Hermes already then you just go to the github and install it but it's pretty simple and easy right and it was pretty fast to set up as well I like that. So just to recap on the steps there you go to Hermes setup inside your terminal then you're going to go to noose portal then you log in you select Quen 3.6 plus as a model you want to run and then next time you run Hermes right so if you go to Hermes inside terminal here the next time you run it it's going to be switched to the noose portal free model which is Quen 3.6 plus right and then if you just want to test it works you can run a command and it runs right it's hey Julian what's up it's actually it feels quite human when it replies which is nice too now you might say at this point what makes Quen 3.6 plus special right the one is a model from Alibaba so it's a pretty big company that runs it it's a million token context window so it can process like entire books documents it can hold a lot of context at once basically it's pretty fast so you've seen that it replies quickly here which is great for agents it's multilingual so it can handle multiple languages it's strong at analysis so it's great for like data research structured thinking really good at writing good at coding and it's free right now right which is really cool let's just test it out with a research task here so i want to say research top 10 competitors and i'm going to say niche equals ai aiso something like that what is the most valuable thing you have done with Hermes yeah i think for me the most valuable thing that i did was like using it for aiso right using it to build out websites to start ranking on google it's super powerful for that i've done loads of videos on it but yeah it's really good for that so would recommend but yeah that's how i would use it there's if the thing that i would say with news portal and the models that are free is like sometimes you're going to come across limitations on tokens and how much you can use it now if you ever face that problem there's another free model that you can use which is owl alpha so if you haven't come across this before this is our alpha and this is a free model that you can use with open router right so you can see here again it's a million token context window it's actually ranked number 17th in the world so it's a pretty powerful api if we look at the most commonly used apps with it Hermes is right up there literally it's the number one app being used with our alpha and then you can set up with open router now to do that here's how you do it right so you go to Hermes setup select open router you select the model that you want to use and then you can see open router our alpha is right there it's going to switch to that and then we restart the gateway with Hermes and we go from there now one thing i would just be careful of if you're using like free models is like sometimes you can see for example with our alpha it says prompts and completions may be locked by the provider right to improve the model so anything that you're not comfortable with sharing don't use on these models right because they're being locked if that makes sense but if you're just using it for like day-to-day stuff could be like contact creation something interesting like that then it's pretty good for using and so again our alpha is set up that's a free model let's just test it works and you can see that's working nicely here which is perfect right so we've now set up Hermes agent for free with our alpha you can do it with quen 3.6 plus you got two different models so you can use and they're both easy to set up as you've seen today right they're both a million token context window which is bigger than a lot of paid run Hermes on Android yes so you can see here that you can run it with Hermes and it will run inside Android too the other way that you can connect this to Android is you just run it inside like your apps right so for example telegram or whatsapp you can connect Hermes agent and then use that on your phone whether that's an iPhone or Android how many requests you have on open router so far I've not had any issues with rate limits inside open router but I have directly with news portal right so news portal that seems to be limited a lot more than using open router so that's just something to be aware of how often do you find yourself switching models and why yeah so it's usually limits right so for example if I connect it to gpt 5.5 but then I use it for computer use like Hermes is going to run out of limits and pretty quickly it's going to run out of tokens pretty quickly so then you might switch to news portal but then this portal runs out so then you switch to our alpha I've not had any problems with our office so far can we get Hermes on Android I've not tested out pokey claw but yeah as I've shown before like you can use it on Android I think let me have a look here yeah you can also what the other thing that you can do see you can use Hermes directly with Android which you can see right here right you can also connect it to telegram or whatsapp on Android and then the other option that you have is that you can use Hermes workspace and that works on iPhone and Android right Hermes workspace is a free extension as well so you've got multiple options there in
