Hermes + Agent Swarms Just Changed AI Agents Forever

Hermes Workspace Agent Swarms (Free Update): Run a Team of AI Agents in Parallel + Mobile AccessThe script introduces Hermes Workspace’s free Agent Swarms update, which lets users run multiple Hermes AI agents simultaneously with coordinated roles (planner, builder, reviewer) to avoid agents getting stuck doing tasks sequentially. It shows how to install the free plugin via terminal, run Hermes Gateway, launch the Workspace UI on localhost, update an existing setup, and access the new Swarms section (including optional mobile access). The presenter demonstrates adding preset or custom swarm roles with embedded system prompts and skills, routing a mission by providing a goal, and troubleshooting blocked agents by adjusting settings like the API. A demo swarm builds an SEO-focused automation blog, generating keyword research, competitor analysis, templates, a 90-day content plan, internal linking strategy, and markdown outputs within minutes. The video notes potential bugs and suggests using Claude Code or Hermes locally for setup help, then promotes training in the AI Profit Boardroom and recaps Hermes, Workspace, and Swarm Mode basics.00:00 Agent Swarms Overview01:06 Install and Launch Workspace02:07 Update and Swarms Menu03:01 Roles and Custom Agents03:43 Routing a Real Mission04:49 Office View and Troubleshooting05:19 Swarm Outputs SEO Blog Build07:31 More Features and Caveats08:05 Community and Final Recap

Hermes Agent Swarms are insane! So Hermes Workspace just got a free update and it makes your AI agents way more powerful. Today I want to show you the brand new Agent Swarms feature inside Hermes Workspace. This means instead of running one Hermes AI agent at a time, you can now run an entire team of agents all working at the same time on different jobs, all coordinated automatically.

One agent plans, one agent builds, one agent reviews all at once, all for free and this fixes something a lot of people are frustrated about. Agents getting stuck or slowed down because they had to do everything one step at a time. That's gone now. I'm also going to show you something really cool.

You can now access your entire Agent Swarms from your phone, your agent team running 24-7 right in your pocket. Plus, I'll show you this later, there's a new feature that automatically routes agents without you doing anything. You just give it a goal, it figures out the rest and this is one of the most useful free updates Hermes Workspace has ever shipped. Stick with me and I'll show you exactly how to set it up step by step.

Let's get into it. Today we're going to be testing out a new Agent Swarms update where you can basically orchestrate a swarm of Hermes agents using this free plugin. So I'm going to get started with this right now. This is using Hermes Workspace.

So let's start from here. The way that we can install this is we just use this free plugin and we install the command inside terminal like so. That's going to now set up Hermes Workspace and from there we can begin to set up the Agent Swarms. There's also a bunch of other awesome updates in here for example like Orchestrator Chat, Multi-Agent Control Plane, Kanban Taskbar.

Shout out to Eric for creating this amazing plugin and we can test this out in a second all right. So what we're going to do from here is run the Hermes Gateway. Then we're going to start the Workspace UI and then we can just run this on the local host. Now if you've never checked out Hermes Workspace it's a really powerful way to manage your agents already but with this new Agent Swarms feature it's going to be even more powerful.

So we now have Hermes Workspace set up over here and by the way just look at how much nicer it looks inside the UI versus your normal TUI. Now if you've already had Hermes Workspace set up before you need to update it first before you can get the latest update. So we'll just click update here and boom shakalaka we've got that set up. Now what you're going to see on the left hand side is this menu bar right and if you want to use a new swarm feature you go over to swarms on the left hand side.

So this is the full swarm section. You can also set up mobile access with this as well so you can actually access your Hermes Workspace and your Agent Swarms from your mobile which is pretty amazing too. Now what you'll see inside the swarm section is all of your workers for planning, routing, reports, everything else and you can change the UI with this link and over here you can change the settings right so you can actually route the agent to a specific goal and it will auto compose a routing plan based on the goal you give it. So what this means essentially is that you can give a goal to your Agent Swarms and they can just go off and start working.

Now over here you can actually add a swarm so if you want to add a new swarm agent to your team then you just click the add swarm section in the top right then you can select between what you want so it could be a builder, reviewer, triage, lab, sage, scribex and you actually see the system prompt that's embedded with the role right so every single one of these agents depending on what role preset you give it it will have pre-loaded skills and pre-loaded system prompts. Now also over here we can add a custom one so this means that we can add custom agents inside our swarm so if you want full customization over the system prompt in the mission then you can just change that as well as changing the skills. Now at the top here this is your main agent Aurora right you can describe the mission that you have and you can choose between whether you want one agent or an automatic team of agents to work together right so let's say for example I'm like okay well create a new AI automation blog for SEO plus plan the keyword strategy and create the content. I want to rank for AI agent community related terms plus send traffic to and then we can send the details of where we want to send the traffic to which is here and then we can route the mission right so what you can see here is that it's beginning to route these now if you see this blocked issue just check the agent itself so for example sidekick is blocked so if we click on sidekick and we search down the page we'll find the agent here and we can just change the setting so it may be that for example it's on the wrong API.

So you can see our agents are now working up and running so we've got four agents ready to go we can route a task like for example build an SEO team to create a blog plus SEO content about Hermes agent and then we've also got this office view where you can see your agents in the swarm ready to go the individual tasks of each job plus what they do you can edit that too if you want to so you can switch between a round table style or a grid you can see which ones are blocked which ones are ready to go etc and then you've also got this terminal view for your agents too now if you have any issues setting this up or linking it to Hermes what I recommend is that you ask Claude Code or Hermes locally to help you fix it now if we have a look for example you can see this agent is working on this particular topic so it's beginning to build out the HTML for our blog post targeting our keywords and it's just running like you can see right we've also given it a follow-up here now if we check the individual terminals of all of our agents you can see for example this one is beginning to work on the blog this one is also creating content and if we actually go to the directory of the blog that we're building you can see it right here so the whole team is building out a whole new website with the keyword research the competitor analysis content brief templates even a 90-day content plan that's been built up from scratch using these AI agents now it's all written in markdown which is usually the format that agents use but if we run that through a markdown live preview just to show you what it's doing and how it's working you can see an example right here so it's actually planned out okay when are we going to publish the content what the post titles target keywords word count content type persona etc right so this team of AI agents is basically building a whole blog and created a content calendar for 90 day inside the terminal actually show you the outputs as you can see it also added a featured snippet target so you can see here basically it's trying to target different snippets on we have the internal linking strategy so here basically what it's doing is planning out how it's going to internally link each page together inside the blog post based on the content calendar and what we're trying to rank and it's planned out here in terms of inbound and outbound links for each blog post right so for example this is post number one here's the outbound links here's the inbound links here's a summary table for the whole link building strategy and then it has an implementation checklist that each agent will work through as well right so adding internal links adding the ctas setting up nofollow on the links monitoring internal click-through rates refreshing the anchor text etc and then we have all five of our posts and bear in mind like look how fast it did this as well so this was literally between the space of like five to ten minutes it did all of this so we've got all of the blog posts here as you can see nicely format and that was all orchestrated using the agent swarm section now there's a lot more you can do with that and bear in mind like that was a super simple prompt we just said like building out an seo strategy here's how to do it etc but there's actually so much more you can do with this so you can see your conversation history here you can manage agent profiles manage your skills memory etc hermes workspace is pretty powerful one thing that i would warn you of is like it can be a little bit buggy sometimes with this new swarms feature again if you have any problems i would recommend that you use code code claw code seems to communicate with it pretty well so you can see here it's even mapped out the agents and files which agents are working together etc and that was pretty useful so thanks so much for watching if you want to get more training on hermes open claw ai agents and set up like this you can get it ai agent hermes workspace is a control panel that runs locally swarm mode lets you run multiple agents at the same time with a different job each agent gets a role a model a mission and memory the orchestrator receives your mission and routes it to the right specialist and all outputs land locally so if you want to get the full guide with the 30-day road map and exactly how to use it you can
