Hermes: New AI Video Game Agent is WILD!

Build a Video Game Studio AI Agent in 20 Minutes (Hermes Agent GameForge Workflow)

The video demonstrates building a “GameForge” video game studio agent using Hermes Agent inside an agent operating system to automate workflows beyond personal use. Using the new Hermes Agent Profile Builder, the creator “hires” and trains a game developer agent, then generates playable 3D games from a single prompt; each prompt becomes a Kanban card where tasks can be assigned and iterated. The workflow is summarized as prompt box → forge master (trained agent) → Kanban board → shelf, where finished games can be launched and played in a workspace without terminal setup. The episode shows examples like a neon ring-race flyer and a 3D snake-in-a-cube game, claims four playable 3D games were made in a day, and notes token costs can be reduced by using free or local models. It also promotes the AI Profit Boardroom for the full setup, tutorials, community, and coaching.

Today, I'm going to show you how we build a video game studio agent using Hermes Agent. And this is a powerful sort of workflow we just kind of built out for fun, but it is entertaining. It shows you the power of using Hermes Agent because you don't just have to use it for personal stuff. You know, you can use it for, for example, automating stuff inside your business.

You can automate this for whatever workflow. Really, that is the message of what we're doing today because you can build out super fun stuff and projects like you can see right here using Hermes Agent and we've plugged it into our agent operating system so it can be part of the powerful workflows that runs with everything else inside our system. So let's get straight into this and explain exactly how it works. And this is actually based on someone who was asking, like, you know, can we build this?

Can we set this up? When I was doing a video recently, and so I was like, yeah, let's do that. And within 20 minutes, literally on a video, 20 minutes afterwards, the agent was hired. It was working on its Kanban board and it was shipping 3D playable games into the agent operating system, right?

Pretty crazy stuff. And if I actually show you what's happening here, basically we can type in a prompt to get stuff done, but also we can have our AI agents with the new update from Hermes and the profile builder. We can have that just creating stuff over here on a separate Kanban board. So you can see that we've created three different games on our Kanban board and we can assign tasks to our game developer over here, which is pretty insane when you think about it.

And so the way that we've built this out is we've got this game studio. We can type in a prompt and then we can go from there. And this really shows you the power of Hermes Agent because whatever this is that you're trying to automate, you know, for me, for example, we've automated SEO, we've automated videos, we've automated project management tools, right? Whatever you want to automate, you can do with Hermes Agent.

And this is just one more example that's actually kind of fun to play with. And for example, we can play these in full screen as well. Like you can see, we can launch this one as well. I also like the fact that it's just super colorful and interesting, you know, and you could build something much more complex as well.

Like this is just for fun, but you could build something else out that's a lot more 3D or a lot more lifelike or realistic or whatever you want. These are just quick examples. So the cool thing about this is like previously, something like this would take like a whole weekend and then whatever you built, you would lose it, right? Whereas for example, we've got it inside a workspace here.

It's neatly organized. And if we have an idea, we just go straight from idea within seconds to creating that concept. And that's the beautiful thing about all of this. And so now we have a game studio in the operating system.

It's next to SEO. It's next to the video section as well. And we're ready to go and create and build whatever we want. And so let's talk about the game forge system that we're using with Hermes Agent.

So step number one is you want to hire the forge master, right? You want one agent, one craft charter. And this is only possible with the recent update that just came out, which is a Hermes Agent Profile Builder. And so what this means is you can give your Hermes Agents new superpowers and they can be experts at whatever you train them to do.

So if we go into the Hermes section over here, and then we go to manage, we can create new profiles. And this is how we hire new agents inside Hermes. So if we go to profiles inside manage here, this is our dashboard, and then we go down, you can see that we've got the game developer. And so that is an expert at coding.

It's trained. You can see the model we're using, the skills it have, etc. And it's good to go. And so we actually inside its sole file and its markdown files to train it, we actually plugged in all the things it needs to get stuff done when it comes to this sort of thing.

So you might say, okay, well, I can't code or I can't build stuff out, etc. Doesn't matter, my friend, you can use Hermes Agent to get it done. And then what we've got from there is the game studio tab. And so with one single sentence, we can tell it exactly what we want to build.

So if we have a look at this example, this one over here, the way that we build this, we just typed a 3D ring race, fly a neon ship through glowing wings before the timer runs out. And I totally mispronounced that. But you get the point. Like in one prompt, you go from idea to create whatever you need.

Here's another example. We created a 3D snake game inside a cube. And you can see how cool this looks as well. This stuff is pretty nice.

And then the other cool thing about this, when you got in the workspace, you can just open up full tab as well over there. And so the way that this works, and this is pretty interesting, is like the studio creates a card on the Kanban studio game studio board. So if we go over here, when we create a prompt, it goes over to the Kanban board, and it starts building from there. So for example, we've got a whole team of SEO agents, like you can see over here, creating all sorts of cool stuff.

And then we have the game studio Kanban board, where we can also assign tasks, and it can build stuff out there too. And then step number three is the forge run. So you just want to test it out, make sure it actually works. If it doesn't, no problem.

You can actually just rebuild it, and tweak it from there based on the prompt, and make it better next time. And you know, some people say, well, AR games are just broken demos that don't actually work. But this stuff's actually working. And it's pretty cool, and it's quite fun to use as well.

And then you can just click it and play it from there. So that is the shelf. That's step number four. So you click the game that you want to play, and then you've got them all waiting and ready to go.

It's kind of like, you know, back in the day, I used to have a Mega Drive, and I'd have all these cartridges I could plug in with the game on. But now we've got them all waiting inside one workspace. And these are basically separate games and separate vibes of games that we can play. And the cool thing about this is like, you know, there's no setup, there's no opening up your terminal, it's all just ready to go, and you can start playing from there.

And you might say, well, this is fun, but games are not going to grow my business. And that is a very valid point. So what you can actually do is anything, you can apply this to anything, right? It could be SEO, it could be the system that we have here, where you can go to idea to app that's built and developed in one single click, it could be, for example, that you do something every day like this.

And then you've got a whole workflow ready to go on that particular thing. So whatever it is that you do day to day, it doesn't have to be games, I don't play a lot of games personally. But whatever we need to automate, we can, and I'm just showing you the process in terms of how we approach it. So it works in several steps, as you've seen today.

And just to recap, you've got the prompt box, then you've got the Forge Master, which is the actual agent you've trained, you have the Kanban board, and then the shelf where you can play everything. And that is how the whole system works. And it applies, the same system applies to any sort of automation that you want to use here. You know, you can imagine the old way, right?

Like before, if I wanted to create games, where I'd have to learn the game framework, build out tools, my ideas would just get lost. I'd be stuck in like, I'll prototype it someday procrastination mode. And then we just never get anything done. The new way with this system is that we type one sentence, the agent writes the engine, we can click and play anything that we want to, we've got a Kanban board where we can see the history of what was built, and why it was built that way.

And the result is we've created four playable games in one single day, which is insane when you think about it. So the way that I'd recommend you use this is that you just create one thing at a time. You know, this could be, for example, just creating the Kanban board. If you want to get the full agent operating system ready to go, we've got it inside the AI Profit Boarding.

But if you wanted to build this yourself, just go step by step, you know, you could start off today and just create one new agent and then build from there. Now, some people say as well, won't this use a lot of tokens? Well, no, because with Hermes Agent, you can actually use three models. So with Hermes Agent, if we go to the manage, and then the model section here, you can change the model to whatever you want inside each agent profile.

So you could actually use a local model of LM Studio or Olama, you could use free models with OpenRouter, and NewSport will have free models. As you can see, Nemetron 3 Ultra and Step 3.7 Flash are both free to use with Hermes Agent, which is pretty amazing as well. So what did you learn today, my friends? Well, you learned how to build out a game studio with Hermes Agent, you learned how to create stuff in one click, you learned how to organize it neatly, you learned how to apply this whole process, this pattern to anything, right?

The same loop that we've used for this, which is describe, board, agent, shelf, that same process is applicable to SEO as it is to video, as it is to the game studio. So whatever you want to build and create, you've got it right there. And the thing that I would say here is like, stop coding your ideas and just give it to an agent that can organize it for you, right? And that way you go from idea to creation really fast.

That's exactly why we created this as well. Like, we can have a group chat with my agents inside the agent group chat, and then we can deploy it inside the pipeline and get it ready and built, as you can see right here, in literally a couple of clicks. I don't have to do much to get that done. So thanks so much for watching.

That is the GameForge, the video game agent that we've built with Hermes. We could always make more advanced games. I know some people will be watching this and say like, why didn't you build Skyrim or something like that? Well, I mean, you can build much more complex stuff later.

It's just, these are some quick examples that we've built out today. Now, if you want this exact setup, the agent setup, the studio itself, you can grab the agent operating system inside the Air Profit Boarding. You get the zip file, you get the whole setup, you get the obsidian memory setup, and you get all of these agents plugged in in one place, which becomes super powerful. And you might think as well, isn't that technical to set up?

Like, how many people can set up an agent operating system? Well, for example, Ken actually built it himself. You can see here that Nick built one as well. Ethan built one.

You know, so many people are building out agent operating systems from the Air Profit Boarding. So I know if everyone here can do it, then you can do it too. I mean, we have 181 pages of testimonials from people who have never used AI before, and they're getting awesome results. So why can't you?
